The Clifford Craig Medical Research Trust was established in 1992 by our local community to be an independent, non-profit organisation interested in discovering and sharing better treatments of disease.

The founding vision then was to create a world-class medical research institute in Northern Tasmania. Today the trust is a truly vibrant organisation with a strong focus on the diseases that affect our people.  It has built a quality research centre within the Launceston General Hospital environs and with the recent announcement of more than $300,000 in new research funding has now successfully funded 81 worthwhile medical research projects.
